Record $100,000 to Benefit
Boys Town Athletess
During the Sept. 4 Boys Town shut-out win over West Point-Beemer,
the Cowboys had another reason to celebrate – a record-breaking
$100,000 donation from the Boys Town Boosters. more>
The Boys Town Booster Banquet inspires student athletes to compete with character in all facets of life. In 2006, Emir, a star wrestler, offered this moving tribute to coaches and Family-Teachers who helped him succeed, both on and off the wrestling mat.
The proceeds from the banquet help purchase much needed items for the Boys Town athletic department and its young athletes. Previous donations from the Boosters have paid enrollment fees for good sportsman clinics for the athletes, renovated the locker rooms in the Palrang Field House, and replaced all the interior lights in the arena.
